Mandy Banton is an osteopath with a clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. She has lectured on osteopathy Masters’ programmes and is a Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy.
For her professional doctorate in osteopathy, she investigated the intersubjective aesthetic experience shared by cranial osteopaths and their patients.
Her philosophical interests are in hermeneutic realism and phenomenology. She aims to promote an exploration of the ontology of practice within osteopathic education and research.
